David has a PhD in Information Studies. In his dissertation project, he worked with the Canadian Pharmacists Association on improving treatment recommendations through the use of clinician feedback. His work was co-supervised by Dr. France Bouthillier, School of Information Studies, and Dr. Pierre Pluye, Department of Family Medicine, McGill University. David has a diverse background, and has worked in various environments, including private start-ups, multi-nationals, research institutions, and the national science library. He has been a member of ITPCRG since 2009, and his post-doc research with the group is concerned with information management in health care organizations.
